Storia

Josefa and José were Casa Bombo’s original owners. They were known by neighbors and friends as “Mamá Pepa” and “Pepico el Bombo”. They shared the house with several other occupants, and would meet in the communal patio as they went about their daily affairs. After they left, the house was uninhabited for a long period, and fell into disrepair.
In 2012, two young entrepreneurs embarked upon the refurbishment of Casa Bombo, respecting the house’s spaces and customs. The essence of this historic house has remained present in all of its manifestations: from a house shared by neighbors, to student lodgings, to a youth hostel, until its current use as a guest house. Casa Bombo has always given place to a communal lifestyle; it is a space to be shared.
